Don't Judge The Book By It's Cover.

"Racism is the belief that inherent different traits in human racial groups justify discrimination. In the modern English language, the term "racism" is used predominantly as a pejorative epithet. It is applied especially to the practice or advocacy of racial discrimination of a pernicious nature (i.e. which harms particular groups of people), and which is often justified by recourse to racial stereotyping or pseudo-science... Racism is popularly associated with various activities that are illegal or commonly considered harmful, such as extremism, hatred, xenophobia, (malignant or forced) exploitation, separatism, racial supremacy, mass murder (for the purpose of genocide), genocide denial, vigilantism (hare crimes, terrorism), etc." written by wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racism).

And those inherent different traits often visualize as people's outlook, skin colours and cultures etc to discriminate the differences. As this book against with racism, and don't judge the book by it's cover. I believe without the faces, colours and cultures make us all the same. We are just the human. We shouldn't racial discrimination to each other. Stop the war and stop the violence. Make out earth Love and Peaceful.

A to Z Project - Grotesque - collage and post card design

A to Z project, we asked to chose a word from each 26 alphabets. Research into each of our chosen 26 words and try to unravel and get to grips with the meaning and potential of our words. Output a substantial body of work utilizing a range of prototyping methods - sketches, test prints, 3D models, etc.

I've chosen Grotesque for the alphabet "G". The definition of Grotesque from the dictionary, it says: strange and unpleasant, especially in a silly or slightly frightening way. In my way of grotesque doesn't have to be so unpleasant. There are a lot of interesting literature work about grotesque character like, Alice of the wonderland, Hunchback of Notre Dame and Beauty and the Beast etc. My final grotesque art work chose A Midsummer Night's Dream as the background and create a series of Fairies and the queen of the Fairies - Titania. The format is a post card design for people to collect the Fairy that they like.
